Ministry Opportunities

Everyone Tell One in 2010!

In Matthew 28:19-20 we as believers are commissioned by Jesus to share the gospel with those around us. Believing that the time is short we want to make a special effort to carry out our commission in 2010 so we are encouraging everyone to tell someone the good news of the gospel in 2010. In 2009 we averaged 300 in attendance per Sunday, so our goal is to witness to 300 people this year. As we pray God will provide the opportunity.

Each week we will have a tear off sheet in the bulletin. As you witness, please fill out the form and drop it in the offering plate so we can mark our progress.

Haiti Relief Efforts

We are working through the Southern Baptist International Mission Board to send relief to the people of Haiti. You may donate money through Paramount Baptist Church and mark your donate "Haiti Response Fund" or if you prefer you can send it directly to:

This is a good opportunity to serve the Lord, and make a positive difference in a child’s life. See Pastor Rickard or Betsy Magaw if you can help.

Summer Children's Helpers Wanted

A member of our Outreach committee will get in touch with you to give you instructions and show you where the mugs are kept. Thank you!

Church Van Drivers Needed

We are looking for van drivers for Sunday mornings. This would mean each driver drives only once every 5 weeks. If you are interested, please see Joi Hilton. Thank you!

Flowers

Workday

We will be having a Workday here at PBC on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. We need help with cleaning up around the church grounds, and some inside cleaning. We can use all the help we can get so plan on coming!

“You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:42-45)
